How to play

Press Show me the list and study the eight things for up to 25 seconds, or press I’m ready sooner. The list disappears, and you rebuild it from fourteen buttons: the eight on the list and six look-alikes from the same theme. Tap them in the order they were listed; tap a filled slot to take it back. Then press Done.

Your score is how many you put in the right place, and the clock (from the moment the list appears) settles ties, so studying less is a gamble. Everyone gets the same list each day: send your score to a friend and see who remembers more. A new list comes at midnight, and practice rounds are there any time.

Tips

• Make a story: the milk spills on the eggs, which roll into the bread…
• Count them off in groups: the first three, the middle two, the last three.
• Watch for the look-alikes. If two things on the buttons seem equally familiar, one of them wasn’t on the list.
