Privacy Policy

Your lists

All sorting, cleaning and comparing happens inside your web browser. The text you paste is never sent to our server or to anyone else. A copy of your current list (and of the second box, on tools that have one) is saved in your browser’s local storage so it’s still there when you reload the page or move to another tool. It never leaves your device. Press Clear in any tool, or clear your browser’s site data, to remove it.

One option sends something out, and only when you tick it: Check online in the Email List Cleaner looks up whether each domain in your list can receive email. It sends just the domain names (the part after the @, such as acme.com) to Cloudflare’s public DNS service (cloudflare-dns.com), the same kind of lookup any computer makes before sending an email. The email addresses themselves are never sent.

Advertising

This site is supported by ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google’s Ad Settings, or learn more at aboutads.info. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for their consent, through Google’s consent message, before personalized ads are shown; if you decline, you may still see non-personalized ads. You can change your choice at any time using the privacy settings link Google shows on the page, or by clearing this site’s cookies in your browser.

Ads never have access to the lists you type or paste.

Speed measurements

To keep the tools quick on phones, each page measures how fast it responds when you tap, click or type, and sends that timing to our server once as you leave the page. The report holds the timings, the page address, which kind of button or box was tapped, your screen width, whether the device is a phone, its rough processor and memory size, and the approximate length of your list as a range (such as “41 to 100 lines”). It never includes the text of your list, and it is stored without your IP address.

Server logs

Like almost every website, our web server records basic request information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. It is used to keep the site running and secure, and is not combined with anything you type into the tools.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page.
