Word Chain

How to play

Tap a word to add it to the next empty line, or drag it to any line; tap a line to take its word back, or drag lines to swap them. Between each pair of lines a ✓ shows when the letters meet, like apple → elephant. When all eight words make one chain, you are done. Only one order works.

The clock starts with your first move and your time is your score. Everyone gets the same words each day, so send your time to a friend. A new puzzle comes at midnight, and practice rounds are there any time.

Tips

• Look for a word whose first letter no other word ends with: it has to go first.
• Likewise, a word whose last letter no other word starts with goes last.
