Groups addresses by the part after the @, so everyone from the same company or provider ends up together.

How it sorts

Addresses are sorted by domain first and then by the name before the @. Capital letters are ignored, so Amy@Acme.com sorts with amy@acme.com.

Cleaning up a mailing list

  1. Press lower case so the same address typed two ways matches.
  2. Press Remove duplicates.
  3. Press Sort by domain to spot typos like gmial.com, which end up in their own little group.

To use the list in an email program, set Separate results with to Comma + space or Semicolons.

Your addresses never leave your computer: everything happens in your browser.

Questions

What happens to lines that aren’t email addresses?

Lines without an @ sort to the top so you can find and fix them.

Can I compare two mailing lists?

Yes. Use Compare two lists to see who is on one list but not the other.
