Fewest Swaps

How to play

Tap a card, then tap another to swap them. The cards read left to right, top row first (the small numbers show the order). The game tells you the fewest swaps it can be done in. Sort them in that many and the round is perfect; your streak counts perfect rounds in a row, and your best is remembered in this browser.

A trick that always works

Look at place 1 and ask which card belongs there. Swap it in. Then do place 2, and so on. Each swap puts at least one card in its final place, and the last swap often fixes two at once. Done this way you never waste a swap.
