A new puzzle every day. Six guests, six seats and a handful of clues: can you seat everyone so every clue is true?

How to play

Tap a guest, then tap a seat. Seats are numbered 1 to 6 from left to right, so “to the left of” means a lower seat number. Tap someone already seated to move them or swap them with another guest. Each clue turns green when it’s true and red when it’s broken. When everyone is seated and every clue is green, you’re done.

The clock starts with your first move. Everyone gets the same puzzle each day, so when you finish, send your time to a friend and see who’s faster. A new puzzle comes at midnight, and practice rounds are there any time.

Tips

  • Start with the clues about ends: “doesn’t sit at either end” leaves only seats 2 to 5.
  • “Exactly one seat between” and “right next to, on the left” pin two people at once.
  • Someone the clues never mention gets whichever seat is left over.

Every puzzle has exactly one answer; the game checks all 720 possible seatings before it gives you one. Picking teams or seats for real? The Random Team Generator and Random Name Picker do it in one click.
