Sort Addresses by Last Name

Paste addresses with a blank line between each one. They’re sorted by the last name on their first line, and every address stays in one piece.

Getting your addresses in

Put a blank line between addresses. Copying from a spreadsheet where each address is one row? Sort those with Sort by last name instead, since a row already is a single line.

The first line of each address is read the same way as the last name sorter, so titles, couples, “& Guest” and “The Smith Family” are all handled.
