Special characters
\nis a new line. Replace,with\nto put each comma separated item on its own line, or\nwith,to do the opposite.\tis a tab, as found in text copied from a spreadsheet.\\is a real backslash.
Matching is exact unless you tick Ignore capitalization. Leave Replace with empty to delete every match.
To change just part of your text, select it first. Only the selection is changed.

No. It looks for the exact text you type, so characters like . * and ? have no special meaning. That makes it safe for everyday use.
