The second address has five lines, so its text is set a little smaller to fit the 1″ height. Put “Suite 200” on the street line instead (1450 West Lincoln Highway, Suite 200 inside an address block) and it stays four lines.

A 5161 label is as tall as a 5160 but half again as wide, so it holds four lines of 11-point type with room for long street names, company names and suite numbers. Need more lines? The Avery 5163 is 2″ tall.
Labels that use the 5161 layout
Avery 8161 is the inkjet version of the 5161. Avery 5261, 5961, 8461 and 18161 have the same layout too, and so do other brands’ labels whose package says “use Avery template 5161”. Choose 5161 for all of them.
How to print on Avery 5161 labels
- Paste your addresses with a blank line between each one, one per line, or the address columns copied from a spreadsheet (heading row included).
- Press Make labels and look over the preview. Half-used sheet? Set Start at label to the first empty one, counting across and then down.
- Press Print labels, and in the print window choose Scale: 100% and Margins: Default or None.
Print the first page on plain paper and hold it against a label sheet before using the labels; Draw label outlines makes the check easy.

Is this the same as the Avery 5161 template for Word?

What’s the difference between Avery 5161 and 8161?
The 5161 is made for laser printers and the 8161 for inkjet printers. The labels are the same size and in the same places, so they print the same.
5160 or 5161?
Both are 1″ tall. The 5160 fits 30 to a sheet at 2⅝″ wide; the 5161 fits 20 at 4″ wide, for addresses with long lines.
Is my list uploaded?
No. Your browser lays out and prints the labels; the addresses never leave your computer.
